Current projects include:
- Family research assembly / research / drawings.
- Sewn text and image bookworks relating to cod goodwill, the sayings which smooth things over and fail to address the underlying difficulties, the ‘dirty’ psychology.
- Patchwork is a recurring motif in my work, as is ornamentation in mundane contexts (e.g. pattern of fabrics, dishcloths and quilted fabrics), both forms of fabric tangibly convey hidden messages, experiences and memories from the weave and usage.
- The demolition of a derelict coach house outbuilding in the back yard of my home segued into a huge new project, which merges reflective gardening with site-specific pieces that infer local and wider history using modern media and processes.
